NetBook Reflection 2012

Before I had my netbook I was working in books. It was Boring working in the book's.

When the Netbook's came it change my whole life.

When Mr Ramkolowan showed us our Netbook's everyone was happy. That's when my life 

changed. When I worked on my Netbook my learning got more interesting. I got to blog and

comment on other people's blog. I created new writing and publish it on my blog. Mrs Grant

told us how to comment. You have to be positive, make connections,read the story,be specific

and have a question. I can still remember when I got my netbook on the 25th of  July.

If I was still working in a book  I will be so bored.I really like my netbook. I am fast at learning on

 my netbook

I learned to share, create and comment. 

     

Sprinting rocked the Olympics

My favourite Olympic Sport is running.
This sport is played on a court or on the footpath.
It is both an individual as well as a team sport.
The current Olympic Champions for running the 100m mens race is Usain Bolt from Jamaica.


Running is one of my favourite sport because in it you can be the fastest man on Earth.  You can  be famous and get all the girls to like you.

Another reason running is my favourite sport is because you get lots of money if you do well. That will be so cool. You will be rich and can buy anything you want.

The next reason it is my  favourite is that it is so cool to run. It makes you happy and you will have no worries. That will be so cool.

Finally.running is my favourite sport because you meet new people and make new friends. But when you are  on the court yous are not friends.


From the reasons I have given above, you can see that running is the best sport in the world.  It can be done either in a stadium or on the open roads.  You can run as an individual or as a team.  Running can make you world  wide famous.  That  would be so cool for me.

A bird

One morning at Glen innes school everyone was playing outside. Melissa,Siua and Maia were playing Handball outside room9. Suddenly  Melissa said
“ Stop the game.”


What is it ,where are we going Melissa. Look at that bird. Where is it under that tree. Yes lets go and see what it is doing. Hey look it is blue said Siua. Then Melissa   put a rope on to the birds leg.
Maia scared the bird away. Then Melissa and Siua was angry. Then Siua thought of a idea. He got all the bread he had and left it in one place. Then a bird with a rope came. There it is Melissa said. Lets go and put it in a cage.

Melissa,Siua and Maia keeped the bird as a pet. They were so happy to have a pet.

Missing at the beach

It was one lovely morning. Koli thought  room 9 should go  to the beach. So Wesley, Koli,Etai,Ifa,timothy and Siua got there lunch ready and there togs ready. Koli’s mum dropped them off to the beach and told koli that she will pick them up at 6:00 o'clock.They arrived at 9:00 o’clock.  As soon as they got there wesley put on his togs and went and had a swim. Koli went for a jog,Etai sat down and started to eat,Ifa sat under the shade then went to sleep,Timothy  was playing with the ball and Siua was just putting his legs in the water.”Koli was gone for a long time,” said Siua.

I think  he is gone said Tim.We all looked around the beach.
“ He is not here” Siua said. “Wait!” Siua said look at these foot prints. They  all  followed  the footprints. Tim saw him in a cave. The boy’s picked him up and said
“what happened.”
Koliata said“I got hit by a rock.The boy’s took Koliata home. His mum was sad. They took Koliata and went to the hospital.

The next few days Koliata was out of the hospital and playing with Siua,Etai,Tim and Ifa.Everyone was happy.

    

The Missing Monkey

One sunny morning Melissa, Koliata and Serena got ready. They got ready to go to the zoo .

Then they got into  Melissa’s car.  Melissa drove to the zoo as fast as a cheetah.
“Finally we are here,” Koliata said.
Then they went inside. First they went and saw the Giraffe. Serena fed the giraffe some leaves. Then they went and looked at the elephants.
Koliata said, “That one is the fattest out of all the elephants.”
“You're sad,” said Serena.

Then they went to see the only monkey in the zoo.
“Where is the monkey?” said Koliata.
The rangers arrived faster than a motor bike.
“Where is the monkey?” asked the rangers.
“I don’t know,” said Serena.
“We must look for the monkey. It is the only one we have left in the zoo,” the ranger said into the speaker.
“If you see a monkey, bring it to the office and you will get a cash reward.” Then everyone ran around looking for the monkey. Koliata needed to go to the toilet. When he got there, Koliata saw the monkey. He called the ranger. The ranger came and took it back to it’s cage. Koliata got $100.  He was very, very happy.

Koliata went home and gave half of his money to his mum and dad.They were very happy too. The ranger at the zoo was happy the monkey was in it’s cage.           

Yummy sandwiches

On the 30th of August
Pak'n'Save gave G.I.P some ingredients. They were carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, cheese, ham and tuna. The tuna also had apple in it. They were very tasy ingredients.

Room 9 went to the hall and sat onto our chairs. I made a lovely sandwich. But then Wesley put me off eating. I felt sick. Then I said "I hate you Wesley". Then Wesley sad I am so sorry about that I was just kidding. 

I would like to make a sandwich again. Because it was easy for me and I had fun adding the ingredients. It is also yummy and healthy for our body.

Amazing passes

Training for netball

This morning it was a lovely day. Room 9 walked to the ash field in a lovely line. On the ash field there was Room 9's lovely coach Nyreen.

At netball Room 9 learnt passes. One of the passes is the fantastic chest pass. Then there is the amazing bounce pass. The last pass is the cool overhead pass. Another skill is defending. We had to shadow our partner. Then you had to be three meters away from the ball. The last skill is shooting. To shoot you need to put your hands into a duck position and push the ball up to the hoop and flick your wrist.

There were three training skills. It was helpful for me because I got good at netball. I really enjoyed training for netball with coach Nyreen.

I did not expect

Dear mum
It was a lovely morning. I walked into the hall. There were decorations like banners and balloons. We got our netbooks.
I did not expect a movie, decorations and a box for our netbooks.  I did expect netbooks on a trolley.

The netbook that you bought for me will help me by doing my  spelling. I even can play games that helps me with my maths. I can  even do my research on the internet.
The thing that I enjoyed was opening my netbook.

Thank You for spending your money on my netbook. It is so cool I was so exciting when you bought my netbook . I love you mum, so much I will try not to be naughty and try to  be kind.  You are the   best mum.Thank you mum
