Saying good bye

What I learned this year:
This year trying new sports was fun such as; Croquet and Lawn bowls.

What I could've done better:
This year I started off doing my school work. It continued through out the year. In term 4 I did not keep my attitude in place so I got a bad report.
Writing was my hardest subject in school. It was my hardest because I did not focus.

What I liked about this year:
Going into another class - In 2014 I went to room 12. It was really fun and I made lots of new friends.  Sports camp was a good experiences. It was fun and we came fifth out of the whole thing.

What I am looking forward to next year:
Next year I am going to try and change my attitude.

Sorry Mrs Barry for making this year bad.

The game was challenging for me because I did not know some of the questions. Next I would like to learn to decimal fractions.

Scale drawing

I learned to scale to enlarge my drawing. I used a scale of 1cm to represent 3cm. This  means that my drawing was 3 times bigger. The task was difficult because it had too much detail. I need more practice. Next I would still like to learn scales.

Jump Rope @ Glen Innes

Jump Rope @ Glen Innes

Today the whole school went to the Glen Innes centre for skipping. We went at 11:00 o clock. When all the classes were there we started to skip. First it was room 1 to skip.  Their item was so cool. We all laughed when we were looking at all the little kids skip because they skip funny.  Then it went room 2, they were really good at skipping for 5 and 6 year olds.  Then room 3 had a good routine and funny music. Room 7 was very long. Next it was room 8 they were cool because my brother was in it. Then it was room 9; they were awesome and had chosen a good song too. Then it was room 10 they were boring.  Then it was room 11 their routine was funny. Then it was the best room. Room 12 was cool and had funny skipping.  After that we had a skip off.  At the end Ashley won the skip off. We went to school at 12:30.  My favourite class was room 12 because it was very interesting and they were funny. I hope we have a better jump rope next time.

Reflection - Basic Facts

Screenshot from 2014-05-14 09:34:37.png

My score was 584 in the stage 6 basic facts. I did well at arranging big to small, addition and division. I need to learn these symbols > < =, write the number and work out the place value of six and seven digit numbers. I will improve my learning by asking my mum to help me with my place value everyday after school for  20 minutes. I could improve by going on the sumdog for 20 minutes. In the next basic facts assessment I would like to get 100%.

Today we sampled 30 children at Glen Innes. The 30 children had to pick what is  their favourite chocolate. It was difficult to complete my survey in one day.

The boys like snickers. Most girls would rather have a  milky bar.
The favourite chocolate at Glen Innes is Snickers. The least favourite chocolate is Mars.  The children liked snickers because
they love the yummy caramel flavour.

The next learning I want to do my work and keep quiet and to learn algebra.
