In math this week we have been learning fractions. We have been learning to convert improper fractions in to mixed fractions.You have to divide the numerator by the denominator. Write down the whole number answer . Then write down any remainder above the denominator. For example  31/3 into mixed fractions is 10 and 1/3

After that my group work on a fraction work sheet.

Problem solving

We had to help our partner in math from group 1. We had to help with problem solving. They had to work it out in addition and more. This is the problems that they had to do.

Problem Solving
1. Trains Jason makes a train from a green rod, a yellow rod and a black rod. Kim makes her train from a green rod, a black rod and a blue rod? Who has the longest train?

2. Visiting Grandma Jane is going to see her Grandma in 6 days from now. If today is 23rd April what day will she see her Grandma?

My partner finished these two problems.
